A. OK, I don't think you're starting a company, I think you're starting an AGENCY, right, selling Nationwide insurance?? Their marketing team will set you up.

Going to DC to visit capitol-area sites for a few days. Should I stay in a hotel near capitol or off site?
Q. I visited DC with my parents almost 20 years ago. I'm heading back this time in April with my 11-year-old son for a visit of about 3 days. We are only interested in seeing the monuments around the capitol building and the Smithsonian (this trip, anyway). Is it better/safer to stay in a hotel outside of downtown and ride the train in, or is staying in a hotel near the capitol building a safe option? The price of the hotel is not a major factor. We're mainly concerned about ease of travel and access to everything. Thanks.

A. If price isn't an option then by all means stay in a nice hotel near the Smithsonian. Try to find one that's close to a metro stop to save some walking, especially after a long day at the museums you'll be thankful for that! Any hotel downtown is in a safe area, stay within the NW quadrant if you're venturing outward. You can also opt to stay in Crystal City, VA hotels, which is a 15 min ride on metro into DC, and many hotels offer airport and metro shuttles. The advantage there would be you're right next to Reagan National Airport, and it's slightly cheaper.
